"Gold"
Written by the brilliant San Diego artist, Mark DeCerbo, who was at the time the leader of a favorite San Diego band called "Four Eyes".
A few years prior to recording "Gold", I was out listening to music at a local San Diego club. I can't remember the name of the club or coffee house but I do remember Mark DeCerbo play his song "Gold". I about came out of my chair. I thought, " I want to cover that song!" I rarely have a song hit me square in the eyes like that so to speak but It got to me enough to cover it and put it on "Last Night In Roseburg". This song Kicks Ass!
