January 29 Idyllwild Songwriters Festival Join us Saturday, January 29th for the all-ages*, free parking, winter installment of the quarterly Idyllwild Songwriters Festival, set in the recently restored town hall of this charming mountain arts community.
The event will feature songwriters new and known, including Wendy Waldman (Los Angeles), Joel Rafael (San Diego), Lisa Sanders & Brown Sugar (San Diego), Alan Roy Scott (Los Angeles), local favorite Sandii Castleberry, The Brothers Landau (Los Angeles), Kevin Campbell (Los Angeles) Joyce Lee/Rockstar Angel (San Francisco), Chauncey Bowers (Los Angeles), Jen Hajj (Idyllwild), Deb Seymour (Seattle), Melanie Rose Prince (Idyllwild) and musical host Brett Perkins (Copenhagen).

The BAHOOTENZIE FOLK FEST – Oct 1 & 2, Joshua Tree, CA is Steve Poltz and some wild talented friends performing 15 sets over two days and nights in the magical Mojave. We’ll dance, laugh, cry, hug, harmonize, unplug and unwind. The BaHOOTenzie SongSchool – Sept 28-30 is a deep-dive into song writing. Limited to 40 participants, this is an intimate opportunity to learn from some masters of their craft. You’ll cover song crafting, performance, inspiration, creative writing, co-writing and more.
