"Memories"
I wrote this song in Sebastopol California
after getting naked in a bathhouse in San Francisco with the Copper Women. They were this amazing acapella group from the Bay Area.
It came out of me fast and furious while sitting on the living room floor of Taniyah's little house while the girls were making dinner and that was it! "Memories" was born.

Lyrics

"Memories"
Words & Music by Lisa Sanders

Last night was an awesome thing
Moon shown over our heads
And I can't remember when I last saw fireworks so red
Well we sat down in the meadow
You had sparkles in your hair, and I never saw a grin like that from ear to ear, I was taken
Chorus
And I dropped down on my knees and I thanked you for the memories we're makin
Verse
Spoke so soft so quietly, I could hardly hear, so I leaned on over closer to your lips, and I was bitten
Chorus
And I dropped down on my knees and I thanked you for the memories we're makin
Bridge
It feels so good, I could jump right out of my skin, my heart runs right back to you
Verse
When I get off this rockin horse
I just don't know when, I'll never ever ever, sin again, I'd be mistaken
Chorus
Cause I'd drop down on my knees and I'd thank you for the memories we're makin
Yes I'd drop down on my knees and I'd thank you for the memories we're makin
