"Last Night In Roseburg" was started after a lovely house concert for a group of amazing women educators in Roseburg, Oregon on a hot summer night. I was being encouraged to get into a hot tub with a group of vivacious women and upon giving it some careful consideration I decided to go up to the loft and write a song instead.
When I couldn't complete I couldn't complete the song, I asked my friend Jenny Yates, hit songwriter for Garth Brooks, if she wanted to give me a hand, so she put pen to paper and helped me finish it in no time at all. We hope you like it.

Lyrics
Last night in Roseburg, underneath the sky, you told a lie, I want to cry, and break down your door
Verse
I can never be free, for all my worry
Of why I still keep holding on to you
I can't sleep, can turn things around
I just want some peace
Chorus
Last night in Roseburg, underneath the sky, you told a lie, I wanna cry, and break down your door
Bridge
Now I'm past, all sense and wonder
deeper and deeper I fall
I know you're not good for me baby,
but still I keep loving you so
Chorus
Last night in Roseburg, underneath the sky, you told a lie, and I wanna cry, and break down your door
